About The Ashtanga School

The Ashtanga School Of Arts, Music & Fitness is founded by Yogi Rupak Marulkar on 10 January 2017 in Pune, India. The Ashtanga School was conceptualized keeping in mind the rationale behind multispecialty centre concept. We integrate all the possible training programs and services to our students, i.e. yoga, self-defense, athlete sports training, fitness, diet and nutrition. Today, The Ashtanga School has become the second home to yoga practices, music classes, classical and western dance forms, and conducts Yoga Teacher Training Course and other certification courses and workshops to improve the quality of lives. The main objective of our academy is to provide quality education to children and youngsters from all the prospects of society and overall development of the generation. The Ashtanga School demonstrates infinite yogic ways for humans to discover their true potential and be the source of happiness, love and wisdom in the universe. About Our Founder

Yogi Rupak Marulkar is a motivated Yoga Coach with advanced training in yoga and specialized in advance techniques of meditation. 8 years in Fitness, a person who made the journey from Corporate industry to Fitness industry. He says that people are worried and concerned about their mind and body but very few take into account their breath. Many diseases can go away by proper control of breath.

 This is the technique he teaches and possess through his sessions.
He is a spiritual seeker who helps people with his motivational talks and meditation techniques to come out of stress, depression and anxiety.

Yogi Rupak has been conducting yoga for Students, Teachers, Doctors, IT Professionals, Govt. Employees, Corporate Companies, etc. Yogi Rupak carries a knowledge from various institutions and sources as being a SVYASA Certified Yoga Instructor and qualified as PG Diploma in Yoga Education.

Is it true I shouldn’t eat before a yoga class?

Yes. Eating too soon before class can cause indigestion and wind and will make you feel sluggish. Try to leave at least two hours between your last meal and your yoga class. If you get hungry just before class an ideal light snack is a few raw nuts e.g. Almonds & dates.

I’m a beginner, can I attend class?

Most certainly. In most yoga classes there are ongoing students and new students. Poses are taught in a way that are clear for new students, and at the same time allow ongoing students to explore new variations.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes with no tight waistbands. A t-shirt and leggings or shorts/slacks is ideal. Yoga is done with bare feet.

How do I pay for my classes?

By cash or googlepay/phonepe/paytm/bank neft please (details on application). At this time, we are not able to provide credit card facilities.

What do I need to bring to class?

A napkin or towel.
A water bottle if the weather is warm (although it’s best not to drink water during class if you can avoid it). Your own mat if you have one, or you are welcome to use the available mats in the academy.
A notebook and pen (for theory classes)

Can I get discount on fees or can I pay after month completes?

Fees are accepted at the date of joining only and discounts are provided only if there is any existing offer during the period. Our academy runs on a basic goal to provide the best in class service to all our customers, and we are working more on advancing to provide fast and better results to help achieve our client’s goals. We strongly believe that teachings are not supposed to be bargained as our trainer hard works to make you healthy and fit.

Rules & regulations
  1. If you have not taken admission for any class, you cannot attend any class or lecture.
  2. Any fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable in any condition.
  3. Wash your feet before class or self-practice.
  4. Mobile phones should be switched off or should be kept on silent mode.
  5. Please take care of your own things which you carry, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage of things. (e.G. Mobiles, bags, wallet, etc).
  6. No chit chat or gossiping in the class.
  7. Do not take photographs inside the yoga hall, unless you have permission.
  8. Our academy believes in equality of all age groups, genders, religion, etc. Please give respect to every of our client’s when communicating or practicing yoga and exercises.
  9. If you are menstruating, modify your asanas accordingly. Never do inversions or abdominal postures When necessary, follow the menstruation sequence.
  10. We provide yoga mats in our class and is advised to not carry your Own yoga mat unless necessary.
